Discount Kit Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Discount Kit Affiliate Program! These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation as an affiliate (“Affiliate”, “you”, or “your”) in promoting Discount Kit (“we”, “our”, or “us”), a Shopify app available in the Shopify App Store.

By applying to, being accepted into, or participating in the Affiliate Program, you agree to comply with these terms, the terms of the Shoffi affiliate platform through which the Program is operated, and all applicable legal requirements.

1. Program Overview

The Discount Kit Affiliate Program allows approved partners to refer merchants to Discount Kit and earn commissions for valid referrals via the Shoffi affiliate platform.

2. Eligibility

To participate, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be legally able to enter into signed agreements.
Be approved through the Shoffi affiliate intake process.

We reserve the right to approve or reject any application at our sole discretion or to suspend participation for any reason, including non-compliance with this Agreement.

3. Compliance with Shopify’s Partner Terms

All affiliates must comply with the Shopify Partner Program Agreement. Key requirements include:

No misrepresentation of your relationship with Shopify or Discount Kit.
No deceptive claims or spam.
No use of Shopify/Discount Kit branding beyond approved materials.

4. Promotion Guidelines

Permitted channels:

Websites, blogs, social media, newsletters.

Prohibited activities:

Bidding on branded keywords (e.g., “Discount Kit”, “Shopify”).
Spamming or misleading claims.
Unauthorized modification of promotional materials.

5. Intellectual Property

You are granted a limited, revocable license to use Discount Kit branding only for referral purposes.

Do not modify assets without permission.
Do not imply ownership of Discount Kit’s IP.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. Termination via the Shoffi dashboard (for affiliates) or email (for Discount Kit) takes effect immediately.

7. Your Personal Data

Optizio Ltd is the data controller for personal data you provide in connection with the Affiliate Program. We process your name, contact details, referral activity, and payout information for the purpose of operating the Program and paying commissions. The lawful basis is the performance of this Agreement.

That data is processed on our behalf by Shoffi, the affiliate platform through which the Program operates, and by our payment provider for the purpose of remitting commissions. We retain it for the duration of your participation and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep financial records.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@optiz.io. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
